Hi everyone,
My friend just have a bengal F1 for the first time, but their parents have no paper and not registered. The queen is just a normal domestic cat, but the king is an ALC. She doesnt know if she can register for her F1 as the first time.
The kitten looks so beautiful and looks exactly as an ALC :)
I hope someone here who knows about this problem can help.

Thanks for reading.

Where did she get an ALC from, especially if she was going to breed it with a regular cat? This story seems very odd.

You can't just own an ALC, so the stud should be registered somehow. Where did your friend get the kitten from? The breeder should be able to answer these questions.

Most ALCs are registered if they are with a breeder. You would only need the registration number of the ALC and the dam would be an American Shorthair. One cannot own an ALC without a permit, at least not in the USA.

Registration entities are TICA, CFA, and GCCF if you are in Europe. Note, the bengal breed came from an unregistered ALC and a domestic tabby. Even Rorschach Of Millwood, an F1 bengal was an unregistered F1. Jean Mill registered the offspring (Millwood Praline and Millwood Pennybank) as F2's, even though their registration numbers are A1 (which would normally designate an F1). I know most of you won't understand that.

Registration requires complete information from the sire and dam.
