Luna is still a kitten so she's still going to have a lot of wild energy! Hopefully, the moms will stay for at least an hour to be with her to make sure she eats, clean the litter box, and spend some time with her. If she is familiar with these people, it should go smoothly. Kitten proofing is a great idea and closing off rooms may help as well. By all means have the moms email you pictures or videos of Luna and I'm sure you'll see she's doing fine. When we go away, I prefer to board Raiden in the cat room at the vets. They have 3 level condos and a cat playroom with a large cat tree (that actually looks like a tree). I'd rather Raiden have 24 hour supervision (there is a vet and tech there through the night) just in case something happens. I'm still nervous the entire time we're gone. Hard to enjoy a vacation when you're thinking about your kitty. Have a great time.
