Hello
this question is actually not Bengal related but i would imagine someone here knows a lot about it. i sat down today and worked out a 4 year plan to take the Two unrelated breedable red point Siamese in my country and through linebreeding create several lines of red points in order to recover this very endangered form of Siamese. i am posting here because i could use some help wrapping my brain around writes equation of inbreeding coefficiency and i thought since some line-breeding is used among the Bengal community i would ask here. before you respond with 'this is a Bengal forum not a Siamese forum' please note that this is a simple case of one rare gene that works in an unusual way needing to be multiplied in a safe healthy way...if you do know what you are talking about please let me know if linking a copy of my breeding project proposal would help, i made it for myself to keep a clear head while i worked things out
