Charlie (Willowfrost Sir Galahad) is a very, very handsome brown marble boy. He is coming up nine months old and sire is our gorgeous Shapeshifter. He's typey, has the most amazingly soft, silky coat and is a real character.
Charlie has been returned to us as his owners couldn't cope with him. He was reported to be very unpredictable in his behaviour and a they felt a potential risk to their young daughter. He would sit on a lap and then turn and attack with claws and teeth and all the family had been subjected to this at some point. He couldn't be picked up by their young daughter as would struggle violently to be put down. He had no bond with their other cat that they took at the same time as him. I think many of the problems were just not understanding him and personally am not surprised about the picking up issue, many of mine don't like to be lugged around either!
He has been back with me since early December and we've put him thoroughly through his paces here. He's been pulled around by my seven year old daughter who loves to cuddle the cats upside down in her arms and make them "dance" to her favourite music
He can be quite vocal, grumbly and give the occasional hiss, but at no time have I ever been concerned about anything to follow, it seems to be more just his personality and way of communicating. He has not tried to bite or scratch at all and loves fuss and attention, and sleeps on Chloe's head in her bedroom
**AFTER THE EFFORTS OF OUR VERY TOLERANT SAVANNAH GIRL WE HAVE FOUND THAT CHARLIE DOES NOT HATE OTHER CATS, HE JUST TAKES A WHILE TO ADJUST** Therefore he could be rehomed to a household with another easy going cat.
He needs a home with someone who is not bothered by the grumbling, with no small children and not a multicat household. He is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered and is ready to leave now. We would really like to see Charlie in his new home for Christmas.
If you would like any more information about him either pm me or give me a call on 07871 232073.
