Can somebody help me with this. I live in North Manchester and have 3 soon to be 4 Bengals.i have a vet who l have been registered with for over 20 years with other pets. They have very little knowledge of Bengal s and we seem to be the only people registered with them with this breed. Plus as we have started breeding we are finding his fees very high. Please can anyone give me the name of a vet in this area that won't charge the earth.

We have a lot of UK members, but now sure how many may be close to you. You should be able to just Google for vets and read up on some in your area. I would think it would be difficult to change vets after 20 years. The thing is, a cat is a cat -- a bengal is a cat! Thankfully, Raiden's vet treats other bengals, and I'm thinking if you don't think your vet has experience with bengals ... you could give them that necessary experience. However .... spaying a bengal is just like spaying a regular cat. The only issue many vets complain about is that bengals are more aggressive, however, Raiden is an angel at the vet and they have no problem examining him.
