My 1 1/2 year old F3 bengal has blood in his urine. I took him to the vet after lots of tests he was diagnosed with a kidney stone which is very visible on the xray. His blood test also indicated a high level of white blood cell count and his creatine is 2.6. The vet said I have to get an ultrasound now on him to determine if the stone can be surgically removed. The vet also said his blood test has indicated some renal damage already and the ultrasound will help determine this in detail.
Does anyone know if this is something common in Bengals?? Is it his food? He is on a wet diet (Advoderm natural foods), raw and cooked chicken, and some raw beef with veggies.
Does anyone know of a herb that would help him break up this stone?? What are my options??
