My boy had TF and campylobacter when I got him as a kitten, I treated him. He's about a year old now and still has little spells of diarrhea (it's about 2 days bad, 7 days good) and it never stopped smelling nasty (compared to my other cat that has little hard dry poops that don't smell). I treated him with two courses before they met (despite the recommendation that multiple courses dont help TF).
The reason I mention it is because the only food that agrees with him is Royal Canin RX PR (potato rabbit). I've tried every other food in the world including other limited ingredient rabbit ones, they ALL give him diarrhea even a half of a teaspoon of any other food in his food. It reminded me of you because of the RC and because I feed him about 75% dry and 25% wet.
Anyway I also wish I could get him always solid, but either some damage was permanent or the TF is still there but hiding (He's had 3 full pcr's come back okay now and 1 TF only from the jody gookin site and my other cat has never had diarrhea or tested pos for tf since theyve been together). I really dont know. Anyway I guess the RC dry diet resonated with me... good luck i hope you get it solved. Mine has gotten better with dealing with his soft poops but he still steps in it once a month or so which is just.... the worst.
The funny thing is even though he tested negative, wheni gave him the second course of ronidazole it cleared up completely including the slightly bad smell for several weeks. It made me wonder if some bengals are getting treated and showing okay on tests before they go out, but really still carrying a small amount of the parasite deep in some crevice... enough to give them diarrhea and inflammation (not that I'm accusing your breeder of doing that/hiding tf, it just made me wonder if it happens).
