Hi Gavin
You can show your cat as 'Breed/Entire' which means they are breeding cats and must be on the active register or you can show them as 'Altered/Pets'. I think as kittens though your pets don't have to be altered and both pet and breed kittens are judged together (I think) but then once your cat is older than 9 months it is classed as an adult and has to be altered (if it's not on the active register) and from then on it is judged separately to the breeding cats. All you really need is your GCCF registration document 'the pink slip' as you need the info from that to fill in your application form.
It would be polite to check with your breeder first before you show them, it may be that she sold them to you as pets because they are pet quality and not show quality but quite often breeders will sell a show quality as a pet because at the time nobody wants a show cat (hope that made sense). Anyway, I'm no expert but from your pics, Zeus certainly looks good enough to show (IMO....don't quote me on that
)!
If your interested check the GCCF Cat Show List for a list of all the shows, find one that?s local and go and have a look, that?s what we did.
I've just bought our tickets for the GCCF Supreme Cat Show (it's the cat's world equivalent to 'Crufts') its in November at the Birmingham NEC. Where not taking any cats (I think you can only show cats at the supreme if they've won 'x' number of awards at normal shows), where just going as visitors but it should be a good day out with lots of Bengals on show!
