Hi there everyone, I have a new litter of six Bengals and have one standout kitten. He's only 2 1/2 weeks old at the moment but
just wondered what other Breeder's think as although I think he is quite amazing, obviously I'm a little biased. He feels like velvet and
has a very short coat compared to the other kittens who are slightly longer in the coat. His markings are already standing out, very bold, the photos don't do
him justice. I'm just wondering should I be holding on to him. How often would a kitten like him come along? :-)

Welcome to our forum. This kitten is spectacular! The pattern is gorgeous. We used to have several breeders who posted regularly, but not any more. Many breeders will "hold" a kitten for their own use to see if they want to use the cat as a future stud or queen. If later on, they feel the cat would not add to their breeding program, they release the hold and someone can purchase the kitten. At only 2-1/2 weeks, you have a long while before you honestly have to make that decision. By that time, I'm sure you will know for certain. I'm guessing you will keep him.
