I am just wondering if Ema has some potential for showing. I am very new at this and had no intentions of doing shows but some people told me that she could win something. She is spayed and has her claws. She is 7 months old. Thanks for the replies.

It is very hard to judge a cat from one picture. Brian is right though, go to a show and see the cats that are winning. You can even talk to the owners and ask them why their cat is great. Most people will happily tell you about them. Showing in alter class can be a LOT of fun, but don't get hung up on winning, just have fun! And make sure kitty is having fun too!

I agree with what Brian said too.

As in a previous post regarding showing cats we did have an exceptional show quality Burmese (sadly passed away) who had the personality to match. He would have breezed through shows, he loved attention form everybody and was a big cuddly teddy bear with a lovely placid personality.

I wish we would have showed him now but I was also concerned about him picking up diseases that sort of thing. Haven't got a clue how likely that would be but it did concern me.

My other Burmese Muskey (not show quality) is a very grumpy cat but we still love him lol.
