Hi everyone. Happy Sunday morning to you all. We are entering our first show next weekend with little Ches (obviously not the name he is being shown under) and I am really nervous. I have read the showing your Bengal pdf that Annie posted (thank you) but this is my very first show and I am not sure how I will get on. I think Ches will be fine. I am taking a friend with me so that she can keep Ches happy on the journey up as it is a couple of hours.

One thing I was wondering - when you travel with your cat/s - do you take a litter tray in the vehicle for them? I am not giving him food on the way up but will have water available for him.

Also worried about the process of judging. Although he is a pretty laid back young boy what if he takes a dislike to one of the judges and has a nibble? I will tell them at vetting in that it is his first show and hopefully they will make a note of this somewhere.

So long as he gets some good reports from judges then I will be happy. Any rosettes will be dedicated to Georgie. Thanks for any advice/tips you can give me.

Because he is a kitten I would take a tray yes - although I must say its taken mine loads of shows to even use their tray at all even in their pen lol.

The judges are very good - You can tell the vetting in staff for their reference so when they check him over they make it an extra nice experience for him. But they won't pass this information on to the judge - the only information they will have is his breed sex & age anything else isn't allowed.

Try not to get worked up as you will pass this on - make everything lovely for him - take his favourite food and toy for after judging and good luck.
