I believe (from memory) the coat only makes up like 10 points the head alone is around 30pts. You will be able to assess him though over time.
Check the bite is level and chin is strong - the eyes are correct shape and placement, same with ears - they need to be placed correctly and rounded tip not pointed. The profile shouldn't have an obvious dip but a gentle curve. Then check the tail for faults and that its not too long and whippy (as thats a disqualifying fault) also check the tummy and neck area for lockets ie white or grey patches of fur - usually dis-coloured looking.
The only thing about the coat I personally don't like is the thick bar that goes around the ribs - but that could break up over time - which is why you need to wait a while
