I have a litter of 4 and all but one girl made the transition to solid food. We noticed she wasn't growing, just skin & bones, and had no interest in eating kitten food w/the others. We offer her chicken, tuna, fancy feast wet varieties, royal canin kitten canned & dry, science diet kitten dry, soft kitty treats--she has no interest, no excitement to even smell them. This delicate little girl loves nursing (but mama is beginning to restrict that), will drink KMR, eat butter or cottage cheese, but has no interest in any other food.

Currently, we're giving her a soupy mix of KMR & Royal Canin Babycat wet food. She licks the milk, but manages to leave most of the wet food behind. She's real hungry and cries loudly for the "soup."

Does anyone have any suggestions?

There´s nothing to be nervous about feeding raw. Kittens love their meat , but remember to add vitamins in to the meat.

I give them all kind of meats. Chicken is favourite (remember to freeze it before giving to kittens) beef,pork and Chicken and pork heart.

How long are you supposed to freeze raw meat before feeding it to cats?
