Hi,
Can I ask how the new kitten's owners contacted you originally? Was it in answer to an ad and if so did they call you on a mobile no?
Often our mobiles store numbers of incoming callers for eons! So, you never know, if this was the mode of contact.
Is the address he gave you bona fide? How did he pay for the kitten, and did he give a deposit (by cheque for example - would have his real name on).
Some of the breeders on here may be able to give you some further advice, but in any event I imagine having nicknamed the kitten and spent so long bringing her along, you are bound to suffer from some feelings of loss.
Don't automaticaly think the worst though. It might be that the new owner is well able to take care of the kitten and sees no reason to call you, as he is now the owner and just wants to get on with it. I assume you are worrying that he's purchased the cat and is now intent on doing her some kind of harm, or not get her spayed and breed from her??
I think that's probably in all breeders minds when they settle their kittens in new homes. Did you have a contract with the new owner?
