Oh goodness! I hope you & the surviving babies are ok.
Sometimes there can be something wrong with the bubs & mum's instinct to remove them takes over, sometimes it can just be mum freaking out.
Some are unsettled when they first have kittens but can calm down after 24-48 hours.
It may be she isn't comfortable in the environment she's in & felt the babies were unsafe, was she happy & settled in her kittening area before she gave birth?
