Have to say I agree with Meemonkey here & think it is too close for my liking. We have a much better gene pool now than when the breed first started of course & I personally feel that there really is no need for such close matings.

Even at this stage of generations of Bengals I personally feel that close matings are no longer needed to lock in specific traits as we have certain lines now that carry for different things.

As Meemonkey has said others may disagree & this is just MHO

Do you have any knowledge of the lines at all Sharon? If you don’t, then you could potentially end up breeding into all sorts of health problems.

Experienced and knowledgeable breeders will sometimes inbreed/line breed (same thing IMO), to ‘lock in’ a particular trait, but it shouldn’t be undertaken by the inexperienced, and especially with the current health issues in many lines.

I personally don't think it's wise.
