There will always be exceptions to the rule. Most breeders I know would love to only have one litter a year from their girls but sometimes the girl has other ideas. Our early generation girl Aphrodite F1 only had her little boy 6 weeks ago and has already had 2 calls. I am not alarmed as yet but struggling to see how i give her the length of break I would like to if she keeps this up. Time will tell.....

Most good breeders will do the right thing by their girls which means treating each situation as unique, examining the facts and weighing up all pros and cons before mating. There is no one answer fits all in this situation.
