Was wondering if someone can help me understand genetics!

Charcoal Snows are produced when the wild agouti gene (Apb) crosses with the non agouti gene (a) in a Snow Bengal.

So to initially breed a Charcoal lynx Bengal you would need a Charcoal Bengal carrying Apb/a/cs/cs mated with a Snow Lynx Bengal carrying Apb/a to produce Charcoal Lynx Bengals???

Then to to continue to produce Charcoal Lynx Bengal kittens a Charcoal Snow lynx Apb/a/ can be mated with a Snow Lynx that also carries Apb/a/???

Is this correct! Help

I hope Ontario will come on and help you out here. There is a lot of information on genetics for the bengal -- there is an older article out there -- probably pre-dates charcoals -- but I can't understand what it means.

You seem to have a basic knowledge of genetics, however, it still comes down to chance in a litter! You would never get an entire litter of charcoals. I just love those masked faces.
