My bengal is 65 days pregnant, and as of yet is showing no signs of labour.

l am new to breeding (registered as a breeder both locally and internationally.) so any advice would be greatly apprieciated!!

At what point do l become concerned?

She has spent the past few nights sleeping in our room just in case the babies come.

as long as she seems happy & does not seem to be stressing at all, i wouldn't worry. they can go to around 70 days with no problems.

i would only really be concerned if she had started to show signs of labour but had produced nothing, then there may be a problem, but fingers crossed all will go well & her & the babies will be fine once they're ready to enter the world

it's an idea to have a chat with your vet so they can reassure you too.

My maiden queen has just had her first litter and she showed us when she was ready. Signs are panting, bracing of the back legs and moving around a lot to find a "nesting" area. Of course all cats are different, but just keep an eye on her and I'm sure everything will be great!

It would be ideal for you and your cat if you could find her a specific area to have the kittens, she might favour under your bed or other places where you can't reach her, so maybe sectioning an area off putting a tray and bed down for her and placing her in that area of an evening so she gets used to it.
