I heard somewhere that Bengals may not be sexually mature until they reach 18 months, can anyone please let me know if there is any truth in this. I'm asking as I wander when to next take our lovely Zendaya to a stud, the last attempt was unsuccessful. Zendaya is 13 months, she quite a nervy cat and would hate to put her under any undue stress.

Did you read the replies to your other post in this topic? Many bengal queens are bred before they are a year old. You mentioned the stress of your queen going to the stud. Stress can cause a female in heat to not become pregnant. I suggested the stud come to you or you purchase a male that can become a stud for you. They are harder to take care of and usually need to be separated due to the spraying that will go on. If your female is truly a nervous kitty, I honestly would not put her through something like traveling to another cattery. It will not be worth it in the end.
