I have a question, just out of random curiosity.

All the F1 Bengal cats I've heard of have had ALC fathers and domestic or Bengal mothers. Is it possible to breed female ALCs to male domestic cats? What is the result?

I'm wondering because with other cross-species hybrids (lion/tiger, horse/donkey, etc), you get very different results depending on which parent is which species. I was wondering if ALC/domestic hybrids might be the same way.

I don't think you will have a different genetic outcome, however the pregnancy, birth, and kitten care would be EXTREMLY difficult! Being you can only breed early generation females(males are sterile until fourth generation) the pregnancies and deliveries are very different than with an SBT. I would imagine an alc would simply be to much to handle while pregnant/birthing.

It is possible Jack Frost, but if there are no Bengals in your country then am I right to guess your ALC is wild caught and potentially illegal?
If that is the case then by breeding and selling kittens and alerting people to your ALC then you may risk your cat and the kittens being confiscated and killed by the authorities.
