Hi all, one of my queens has just had her litter. My question is would you say the 2 cream ones are seal lynx?
Mum is a silver marble, dad is a brown spotted but his dad and all that side are seal lynx and seal mink.

They are not cream, they are called 'snow' were they born pure white or have any markings showimg?

Mum has to carry snow, or she wouldnt have produced any snow kittens. Are you just looking at a 5 gen pedigree when you say she is all silver as they can carry genes for many many many years, so Id be looking back at all of her family, I love family tree research! One of dads parents Has to be brown so his pedigree cant all be snows!

Looks like from the picture (quite dark) 2 brown spotted, 1 brown marble and 2 snows, again cant really tell from a picture but they look like seal lynx (blue eye) on the right and poss the same on the left but he could be a seal mink (green eye) if he was born with a darker pattern.

Are they pk-def & hcm health tested etc? Is this your first litter? You really need a mentor, did the people you buy these cats from not explain all of this? Or ask you why you wanted to breed etc? Colours are pretty 'easy' in this breed as there arent hundreds to learn, so should have been researched beforehand really, love colour research so interesting!

It's difficult to say which "snow" they are until their eyes open. Seal lynx will have crystal blue eyes (which may even be difficult to tell true eye color until kittens are a few weeks old) seal mink will have turquoise/green eye color. It looks at though you have a brown marble in the middle - the two kittens to the left might be brown but they also may be silver and showing tarnish. You can tell if they're brown or silver by pushing the hair back, if the base of their fur is white you have silvers, if it's golden colored you have browns. Good luck :)

Just looked at your website you have stated that the kittens are either Snow OR seal lynx... Seal lynx IS snow, how are you selling for breeding and studding out your boy if you dont know colours? Also you cant carry silver

I also cant see anything on your site about hcm scanning or pkef testing?

I don't feel good about what I'm about to say but I believe this poster has previously advertised their stud on the free pages with the words 'We welcome any breed, papered or unpapered'

Its also stated you are TICA & GCCF registered but your prefix does not appear on either bodies prefix list?

I also checked put the website and a few things flagged up that left me unsure.

one thing i wasnt sure on was that theres one stud to 3 girls, and that the stud is brown spot and the queens are silver? Is this practical or a wise breeding choice? i ask as i genuinley dont know, it could be a great match for all i know x

thats what a thought, 1 stud to 3 queens isnt so much of a breeding 'programme' is it?

i think ppl are obv buying saying they are pets then get home, build a quick webpage, which has no credible info on previous litters or experiance, and start trying to make the mulah roll in. I wont disclose what i payed for honey and khaan, but i didnt pay 500 each and i personally think they looked better quality than that at that age, and my breeder is very well known with praise and reccomendations from around the country!
