Because they are domestic!!! When you breed a cat from wild to domestic cats loose that wild look, its not something that you can really change and the only way to get a wild looking cat is to get an EG. Its obviously something that cant be changed or I would assume breeders would have done so by now. There are some wild looking Bengals that carry the traits of the ALC well but they still have a domestic look to them as well. If you are wanting a wild cat you need to first get a domestic of the breed you prefer and see if you can even handle that. I have an SBT Bengal and she is a really well behaved cat , honestly!!! She is a handful though Bengals and Savannahs are a breed of their own and dont behave in the same manner as other cats. They are very demanding and a lot more active! I would suggest you do TONS of research because you clearly have not done so! After you have researched until you have choosen a breed find a reputable breeder in your area and start with a SBT or later generation Bengal or Savannah! Never start off with an EG and DO NOT get a Serval!!! They are NOT pets! A Serval is a wild animal and IMO its cruel to try to raise them as "family pets" that is not what they are meant to be!!!
