What do you all think? F1, F2, F3, or F4?

It isn't that simple. Not to mention it could very likely not be any of those, and be a later gen.

I'm confused.. is this a kitten you are getting? Or is this just a picture you found on the internet?

You can't just guess what generation a Bengal is by looking at a picture, the only way to know is with a pedigree as proof. In Bengals, "F1" refers to a cat who has an ALC (Asian Leopard Cat) for one parent, and an SBT (Stud Book Tradition) Bengal as the other. F2 means one of the parents is an F1 and the other is SBT.. and so on. The higher the F number, the lower the amount of ALC in the Bengal.

F1 - F3 Bengals are Early Generation (EG) and are considered hybrids, but once they get to F4 then they are considered domestic cats, and can be shown. Usually the EG cats look more similar to the ALC and have stronger "wild" traits, especially in F1s. Most people who have pet Bengals have later generations (SBTs).

you know people here are going to tell you are not going to be for sure what your bengal is without papers...it is a beautiful cat and i really wouldn't worry if it was just for a pet...i bought mine and have papers but she is my love of my life and i could care less about her papers or if she was a f?? mine is a f4 with papers that i have yet to send in...i am going to...but it wouldn't even matter....i love her like a child...your cat is beautiful and that is all it should matter...
