I've switched mine from Iams kitten to eagle pack dry kibbles, but their loose stool worsened. It didn't help they were on oral meds at the time to stop their sneezing//oozing eyes and nostril.
it's been over a week now since the medications ended, and 3 days after they didn't stabilize in any way, it became liquid.
So i went and made a batch of raw food from a site i found in this forum. Big success! In two days, they went from liquid to solid, to my complete horror. I mean, no poop in almost 48hours! Though hadn't realised this completely, cats on raw diet produce less fecal matter since they do not have so many filler to process. But oh so much more urine!
They like the raw meal on the extra watery side which accounts for the bigger urine load. Plus they still drink at the water fountain. Nothing came back from the testing they received on the last vet trip.
is anyone else feeding only raw? I wonder, how much do you give per meal(2x a day) for each of your cat(s)?
p.s. i found this link that explain why a cat shouldn't be on a veggan diet.
