Hi sorry to hear about your poor baby. Can I ask if they have tested for something called TF (Tritrichomonas Foetus) as this seems to be popping up quite a bit. Your vet needs to do a specific stool sample for this. I believe the PCR test is the most accurate. Sometimes this can be misdiagnosed as Giardia which is why it's important to have this specifically tested for.
The symptoms sound like it is as you say still gaining weight which is where the confusion comes in! I hope this helps & please let us know how you get on :wink:

Hi,
I agree with abooksigun with the T.foetus test. And maybe it's worth trying some food allergy test, if your kitty hasn't been tested yet. The allergens can be chicken meat proteins, or grains (corn, wheat) from dry food etc.
I hope your kitten will be fine soon.

I had a simalar problem and the only thing that cleared it was this...

Also feed with Bozita approx 50g in a morning.

Royal canin also have a new one out out called COMFORT which has good reports.

Hi Mollz,

It might be worth buying a probiotic paste to put the good bacteria back into her gut and help firm her poos.

it's absolutely brilliant. If you squeeze about a pee size on your finger and put it onto the roof of her mouth. Give it to her 2-3 times a day and in a few days she should be much better.

When did you last worm her ?
you could worm her with Panacur paste for 3-5 days. Ask your vet for some and ask how much she should give her.

It might be worth giving her a very small amount of food at each meal so she doesn't over load her stomach.
Try not to feed her different things and Stick to the same food until her poos are back to normal.
When her poos are normall again only mix in a very small amount of dried biscuits so it's a very slow transition.

It might take a week to 5 days to get her right but just stick to the same food. Raw red meat is great for putting good bacteria back in the stomach
