As I read so many good things on here about Orijen and Bozita, I've successfully changed Méabh's food this last week, going from cheaper usual supermarket/branded cat food to Bozita wet food, and Orijen dried, but I have a couple of questions . . .

1. At what age should I be reducing her meals down from four to three per day?

2. I've just read on another thread, that someone's vet said not to give fish based wet food, due to the heavy metal content. Does anyone else feel this is a problem.

She has gained weight and condition in this time too, and has begun leaving a small amount of wet food after each meal.

i think people have "varying opinions" re when to cut them down from 4 to 3 meals, my vet said normally it should be done at about 6 months. but she also suggested that you get rather a lot less "whingey kitty syndrome" (her words not mine) if you gradually filter out the extra meal just giving less and less over a week or two.

i know goblin is so set into his feeding schedule that the few times i have been late feeding him have been greeted with a great deal of noise....
