Thankyou so much for the replies. I buy a big bag of frozen prawns and take a few out each night to defrost for him. They have got added salt. Maybe I'd be better off buying fresh and freezing them myself.

you could soak them in water overnight to reduce the salt.

Jupiter turned 1 yr. old on Aug. 13th. Jeff went to the store and bought her some shrimp (prawns). We thought it would be a nice birthday treat for her. She took a sniff at it, looked at us like we were completely crazy and proceded to chase a moth around the house, LOL
We ended up cooking up the shrimp for ourselves Oh well, I guess it's the thought that counts

oh good it's not just mine then! i thought mine were oddballs for turning their noses up at prawns lol

We got prawns to entice Zeus from the wardrobe, it worked a treat, of course Hestia, Mitzy and Daisy went mad for them too. Mitzy and Daisy turned their noses up at them. Everytime I open the fridge I have Mitzy and Hestia jumping up. I have realised Mitzy goes mad for the smell of them but doesnt like to eat them.
