We have a Bengal kitten. We noticed he refuses to eat the dry food, but will gobble wet food, and eat the dry food if it's thoroughly mixed in. But he's ALWAYS still hungry and begging for more. I did some research about the raw diet. I can't do a full feeding of it, but want to add a little into his dry and wet food mix. I added some chicken off a chicken leg into his dinner tonight and he ate it and isn't begging for food anymore. I also gave him the bone to the chicken to see if he'd eat it and he won't. I know no raw egg or liver. Is there anything I should know?
The reason for the wet and dry food is because we can't afford a full raw diet nor do I have the time to make it. Wet food isn't totally nutritional. So, we do one of the high end wet food and dry food. I'd like to phase out the wet food all together, but no idea how.
So, is there anything I need to know or any advice?

I am going to recommend you don't mix the wet food with the dry food. You need to keep them separate unless you are feeling for just one meal and the food is taken up and the uneaten food tossed in the garbage.

I would recommend either a full raw diet or not. Please do not do this half way. There are some high quality manufactured canned foods out there. And those have all the nutrient values your cat requires.

Kittens have tiny tummies and they need to eat five to sic meals a day (just like an human infant). Your kitty lets you know when it is hungry ... so please make sure it has enough food. You don't see obese kittens.

Sometimes I think owners overthink the feeding process. As long as you find a food that your kitty enjoys eating ... that's the most important thing. Well, actually, the most important thing is to love on and enjoy your kitty.
