The abdominal swelling came after my first post. I was initially worried about her weight loss. I didn’t know at the time it was down to Illness until the symptoms progressed x

Ok so if it was through infected feaces it’s most likely pearl that has given it to her then? Which means pearl must have been contaminated when I got her? I’m so confused. I feel really guilty for getting pearl as I feel Luna would still be here now but on the other hand it’s not pearls fault either, more than likely the breeder of pearl rather than Luna? X

Thankyou for all your replies. It’s really helping me think about it in more detail. It helps to know that others have been through this. It’s broke my heart. How long should I wait before getting another Bengal friend for pearl? My vet says 6 months but I feel it’s quite a long time for her to be on her own especially been an indoor cat x
