Hi there, I have a 10yr old male bengal who has lost a little over a pound recently. Normal bloodwork, teeth look good. I feed him orijen six fish and assorted wet foods. Lately he is constantly begging for wet food. I was thinking of trying a senior dry food, looking for recommendations.. he does have a sensitive belly. Thx!

Senior cats are now considered between 12 and 14 years old. Yours is just a baby!!! Mine is turning 10 next month. I monitor my bengal's weight -- every few months and he has lost and gained a pound here and there and he is perfectly healthy! I would much prefer that you choose a food for sensitive stomachs over a food for a senior cat. Know, too, that fish is the worst food for a cat with a sensitive stomach. Chicken and turkey are better and more easily digested for many cats.

Hi Sherry, for whatever reason both of my bengals tolerate the Orijen six fish well. My vet and my bf who is a vet both said they consider cats geriatric at 10.... I am going off what they told me. Regardless, my boy is doing well, he is just ravenous and a bit thin.
