I hope you've read through the pinned topic on raw feeding. There should be some great information on there. As for your questions.
It's not WHAT is the best grain-free dry food for your cat. It's WHAT grain-free dry cat food will your cat eat? Mine is extremely picky and I've tried a lot of grain-free dry foods. Some he won't even touch. Others, he will nibble on.
I would not mix dry cat food and raw together! Not unless it is all going to be consumed at one time. You'll be throwing out what's not eaten at one sitting. Raw food, naturally, cannot be left out for a period of time. You are better off trying to mix the raw with some wet food and then dump (or refrigerate) if not eaten within a while.
99% of the marketed cat foods contain the proper vitamin and nutrients a cat needs. When you feed raw, you will need to include crushed bones for calcium and the heart and liver for taurine, which is essential to a cat. As long as the kitties are getting a complete raw diet -- there may be no need for supplements, but you may want to ask your vet.
