Hiii.

I will be getting my Bengal boy 2 weeks on Friday and we have brought him Felix kitten wet food, and Royal Canin 36 dry food.

What is the best feeding pattern that I should be doing with him? Some people say 3x a day, and some say 5x. And do I mix in the dry and wet together, or feed them seperately?

I have 2 cats in my parents house which I have just moved out of and I fed them both 3 times a day, but I know Bengals are a fussy breed!

First question - is the food you have bought the same as what the breeder is currently feeding your kitten?

I've spoke to the breeder and she said Felix kitten is fine for him cause I think that's what they use, and she told me to buy Royal Canin 36 which they also use!

Also do ask what litter they use and what type of tray your kitten likes (ie open or closed) - that can really help them settle in.

As for a feeding pattern - again check with the breeder - usually 3-4 smallish meals a day to start with - ie I would have biscuits down all the time and half a pouch of felix 4 times a day. Don't physically mix them no - have them in different bowls.

That does help! Thank you :) they use just a normal Sainsburys litter and I will ask about the tray cause I've read a lot of different views on open and closed trays too!
