Hi, raw meat is very good for Bengals, as long as it's fresh etc. Mine also loves white fillets of fish and has at least one a day, plus a fresh chicken breast. I keep them frozen in neat portions and defrost them in boiling water, so that they blanch slightly; he seems to prefer this to completely raw. Many Bengals are also sensitive to corn and vegetable derivatives, which are in many cat foods and can cause IBS. Oakley suffered for a couple of months when we first got him and I took photographs of the blood in his litter tray to the vets for help, but they were useless. I eventually researched the subject myself and found that Bengals need a very high protein diet, unlike normal cats. After trying most catfoods on the market, including the ones from the vet, we found that he was great on Tecos Premium cat food, (which is also a good price). He is now a healthy 7kgs and very, very happy!

Half of Kody's food is raw. When we got him he was used to eating primarily raw food that his breeder prepared. The breeder faxed me the recipe, but I am just too lazy. I started him off with the Nature's Variety medallions, but once he tried the Rad Cat Chicken, he wasn't too thrilled with Nature's Variety anymore. I see you live in Houston, I am in Sugar Land. I get Kody's food at Natural Pawz--I know they have several stores around Houston (in the Woodlands, Sugar Land, and a new one is opening in Bellaire-a few others too, I think.)
The prepared food is a complete food, so it has all the vitamins and minerals in it the kitty needs.
