I've always got a pot of kitty grass on the go...if I don't, then anything that is remotely plant-like will 'get it'!!!

Cats like to chew on grass to aid their digestion. I find the best length to give it to them is around 4 inches tall. Just serve it as it comes in the tray. That way, it's sturdy enough not to all come out of the pot at the roots, yet just long enough for them to have a good old chew.

I keep mine on the windowsill in the winter so that it can get as much natural light as possible.
In the summer, I have to put it on the floor as it wilts much more quickly.

I use Vitakraft, I've tried one or two others, but this one seems to be the most favoured by my two, and is the most long-lasting.
I say, give it a go - they might love you even more for it.

P.s you can trim the grass as it grows (like a real lawn!!) and water it after trimming. It will then last longer.

That sounds like a fab idea - even if it's only to save my poor battered houseplants. Funny, BB (that is 'Before Bengals') my houseplants were all thriving, and in perfect condition. Can't think why?

Thankfully they haven't shown my 8 or 9 foot high (indoor) weeping fig tree much interest. Yet...
