They have a gofundme running. It's been a bit of a saga, they're trying to find a partner now to get back on their feet. It may not pan out but it's something.

This is so sad. $1.2 million is a lot of money to raise. And it would take a considerable amount of time to get there. I was totally unaware of this company. Thanks for the info, Brian.

Super sad. Especially as many proven toxic substances are not regulated (e.g. fragrances). What about sushi? technically raw fish can give you worms but somehow when a cat eats it it's worse than when my husband eats it?

Yay! Tinny is back!

Around here, radcat had a lot of popularity. It was even sold in some upscale grocery stores, in addition to a bunch of specialty pet stores. So now people are scrambling trying to figure out what to feed their cats with that food gone. I think mainly these guys are kinda trying to fill the void:

Although now as soon as stores get a shipment of rawr in, it gets sold out :(

Fortunately for me, for my cats, radcat was probably only 10% of their diet or so, so it's not a huge traumatic thing. And they seem to like Rawr about as well (assuming I can ever find it in-stock!). But still, its sad to see a company like radcat fail when they seemingly were doing a lot of things very right.

Hi Brian
Sorry for my absence. I was finishing my PhD thesis and then going back to UK to pass my exams and then I had corrections to make. After that I watched a lot of netflix shows and now I am tackling job hunting finally.

My cats never wanted to eat a complete raw mix, sadly.
They eat raw chicken and one eats other raw meats too and they like small chicken wing bones but I found that too messy as I was finding it everywhere.
But for some people it's a lifesaver. I mean pet food is so stuffed with crap that it's impossible to work out what is causing an allergy if you have to. I had terrible time finding food both cats eat and that did not make one itch like crazy and now one (BFF in aspic) changed a recipe and it smells, looks yuck and cats won't touch it. I think they cheapen the formula, it seems to be just fish guts now, no firm meat. We are now on Weruva cats in the kitchen (but only one flavour eaten by my fussy cats) and they seem to like Fussie cat tuna and salmon (just tried it) so at least I have some alternatives.

How has everyone been?
