Advice should be offered freely regardless of whether or not you purchased from them, any breeder worth their salt would be more than happy to help you through if they really stood by their claims of being competent and genuine.

Avoid the ones who appear reluctant and resentful...a sale is obviously more important to them! :roll:

As a newcomer to breeding it's disappointing that you've received such a response, I'm sure you'll store away it for future reference though.

Be sure to ask any questions you may have here...

Jo,

I'm sorry that happened to you. It sounds like if someone didn't make a sale to you they have no more time for you. That might work when you buy a car but not when you buy and breed animals.

If a breeder is reluctant to give you advice because you didn't buy a cat from them, you don't want their advice anyway. :roll:
