Ellie must have read the book too. She'll tolerate stroking on the back then there is a thump as her legs collapse and she rolls on to her back for tummy rubs.

Tummy rubs are obviously carried out to some sort of ultra-sound reggae music that humans can't hear. But there is a hell of a rythmn ;o)

She squirms from side to side, then tucks her head down so you can stroke across her forehead, eyes, under the chin - hell, anywhere. This accompanied by wall to wall purrs.

When she DOES sleep on our bed - usually after a fall-out with the Siamese, she is good as gold and doesn't even move for about 6 - 7 hours.

I think she must be a re-incarnated buddhist monk with Eddie Grant tendencies, what a lovely little character she is.

Frankly put, if we'd known what she was like, we would have taken just her, she just seems to fill the house with her presence.

I feel very privileged to be custodian to this little girl.
