I'm also partial to boys, since the two male bengals I've had have been dolls. Great personalities, and very sweet natured.

I agree that a later generation would be best. My own kitten is a later generation, but still has a wild look and beautiful markings. He also has some nicely webbed feet.

Earlier generations will have more wild traits opposed to domestic cat traits, which is why Ann suggested a later generation, especially as I'm assuming you want a pet (not breeding)

From my experience early generations (F1-F3) are better owned by breeders. Late generation bengals are a handful, so I can only imagine how much of a task having an F1-F3 would be!
