Question: has anyone had their kitten shipped to them when they got their bengal kitten? And has anyone had their bengal shipped through delta airlines?

Hi Anna. I saw your question on Facebook as well. I know a few breeders use Delta Airlines, but I am not a fan of a cat flying in the cargo hold. It's loud, dark, and scary! And things have happened with delays, etc. and cats have not arrived in good shape. Personally, I would not chance it. It's one thing for you to fly and pick up the cat and keep it in the cabin with you -- it's a whole other thing to put the carrier down in the cargo hold with all the other luggage and a few other animals who are also being shipped.

I can't speak personally to delta airlines.

I will say that when any kitten is shipped it's super scary for the kitten. Don't be surprised if they have had accidents and are covered in poop and definitely don't be surprised if it takes them longer than you would expect to recover and join your family.

I'm not personally a fan of shipping; however, there are breeders who will come with the kitten when they ship them.

There are likely more local breeders who wouldn't need shipping.
