Keeping breeding as an option could be an idea but you'll have to find a breeder who'll agree
. I for one (I'm not a breeder "yet"
), if I had bred a lovely girl who in my opinion should be for breeding, would give her to a breeder to continue the line, not to someone not sure of breeding her. To that kind of person I'd give a kitten ok for breeding (no faults) but who wouldn't be top show in appearance.
For me, before getting that kitten, you must know what you plan to do with her. If you really want a queen, get one, but bear in mind that she shouldn't have a first litter too late so if you don't think you'll breed her in the next 3 years, take a pet.
As for a playmate, another bengal would be nice but isn't necessary of course
. My Bengal has a moggie for playmate and they get along real fine ^^. As long as they're the same age it will probably work.
