Yep I fully agree with Siobhan.....Bengals aren't really lap-cats!

They will come for cuddles when THEY want them and not before, You mentioned that when you pick her up she just wants to get down and play with her litter-mates.....well thats normal for most breeds at that age and shouldn't be confused with an unsocalised kitten.....She just wants to play with her own kind and your just a big giant thats getting in her way!

Kittens will only really bond to you once you get them home and away from the rest of the litter.....you can't expect her to love you after only a couple of visits, You'll have to win her trust and that takes time but ultimately worth it in the end!

When you do bond with her.....you'll be inseparable forever....I guarantee it!

My Yuki is a headbutter. He won't let you hold him in your lap and cuddle him, and he's not usually going to lay beside you - but he is still beyond affectionate!

If you get anywhere near headbutting range with him - you're going to get it - BAM! He'll purr away, lick you all over the face... and if I'm in the bathroom drying off, he'll be on the sink counter with his front feet on my chest (he stands) kneading away, trying to lick my nose!

Recently, he's started sleeping near my feet at night on my bed, and if it's reeaaally early (say, around 5:30am or so) and I happen to wake up before my alarm goes off for work around 6:30am, he'll cuddle up beside m..

Speaking of the devil! He just brought me a toy to throw for him!! He loooves playign fetch.

Anyways... he'll cuddle up beside me and purr away! I love it when he does that.. he'll lay there with his eyes mostly closed and knead away on the covers. So sweet!

Something else I notice him doing a lot is blinking at me. He'll lay there and slowly bliiiiink... over and over again. I love it.

Another thing about having a bengal cat - you're probably going to hear them meowing by themselves for no reason. Yuki does this a lot when he's playing, or just wants attention. They're very vocal! He's in my kitchen mooing as I type this.

Now I got my beautiful f-3 bengal 5 days ago...I just want to tell everyone that there was really nothing to worry about! Already the first night she was pretty confident, and the day after it was like I`ve had her for a long time already!

She actually IS a lap cat...altough everyone tells me that bengals are not!She follows me everywhere, loves to cuddle and are constantly purring. She`s very active, like all kittens, but not at all as active as a lot of people told me she would be. She also seems to get along with my other two cats, althouh they are of course not best friends yet( a little early for that).

I`m so happy I got my little beautiful mini- leopard!

Good news

Has she already been "done"....? You may find if she hasn't been, she may become a little less interested after the operation. Of course, she'll still follow you around and have to "help" with everything you do, that's part of being a Bengal
