I think you need to ask carefully about the "screening program" for HCM. The protocol for screening is EVERY breeding cat before breeding and annually thereafter, so for any one wanting "screened kittens" - make sure the BOTH parents of the kitten have been scanned and are up to date with that screening, ie a scan within the past year. HCM is a progressive disease, a cat that screened normal at one scan may be positive at the next one, that is why the scanning needs to be up to date. Both females and males can have the HCM gene, and it only needs one parent to have the gene to produce affected offspring, so BOTH parents should have up to date scanning reports.
Yes they have a lot of breeds and cats and have dabbled in cats for a long time, they also run a boarding cattery. They are "professional" breeders, breeding Bengals for years and targeting the EG/hybrid market too, ALC, Savannahs, Toygers and now they have acquired a Sand cat that they are using to produce hybrid kittens too... I have no idea of how they manage their cats, whether it is mainly a family business, or if they have staff.
