Lilly needs a playmate. Obviously another bengal is first choice, but what other breeds are suited to a bengal??

Secondly should we get another female or go for a male??

Tonks are nice active cats - Lollo on here has them - maybe she might post and you can see some pics

I have to agree with you a Bengal would be my first choice, if not a Bengal a Tonkinese, if not a Bengal or a Tonk I would get an Abyssinian. They tend to have the same spider monkey personality as a Bengal and the same energy level as well! What sex the kitten is is really not that important. The most important thing will be picking a kitten that will fit into your home! I wouldn't go in looking for a male or a female,keep your options open and more likely than not your kitten will pick you! If you don't have the option of visiting your new addition I would talk to the breeder and tell them what your situation is. Most breeders will know their kittens personality and will be able to tell you what kittens they think will fit into your home. However,if you have the choice of a male or female that have the same personality I would personally get a male! Just to even things up and I have heard that males tend to be more laid back and more loving than females!

Tonks go perfectly with bengals, although I am biased I have 4 Tonks and 1 Bengal.

I dont have any kittens at the moment, and won't for a few months. I know that Sue at Chataya Tonkinese has 2 boys still available. They are a little older and completely gorgeous from ther pictures.
