me and my gf got intouch with a breader of bengals a few weeks ago and got told she had a cat ready to have a litter that she needed to get rid of as soon as possible due to her moving to australia on 24th of december, the parents of the kittens both have papers and we have seen them and the cats.
the only problem is that has me worried is the kitten we are going to get is going to be 9/10 weeks when we get her on the 23rd obviously leaving it as late as we can. the rest of the litter and her cats have all been given away/ sold we got the last one.

what can we do to make the transition as easy as possible for the kitten? she would be getting seperated regardless if we took her or not, and im fully aware the breader has made a mistake on having a litter when her circumstances were about to change but i believe its something quite personal and important shes not just going on a holiday

im just looking for advice on what to do with the kitten to help it settle as much as possible, iv already got two weeks off so shes constantly with me and my gf is getting two weeks off after me so she will never be left alone for the next 4/5 weeks

At 10 weeks you both will be just fine... What are your concerns?

If you are there then in these circumstances you should be fine.
One of mine was younger than the 13 week mark and although a little less developed in his jumping and subtly (he was a clumsy oaf) he was fine.
You might need to do some 'mum' assistance - like reassure him when he uses the litter tray if he cries when doing it but it all depends on the individual cat.

She shouldnt of had a litter so close to her leaving the country and wanting to 'get rid' of them so quick

are they registered? Health tested?

if not then dont buy one go to a good breeder, in the UK they leave mum at 12-13weeks of age, and beleive me they need it being bngals!

i got safari at 8 weeks...he came out fine....its not good to get them early though...i was excited when i got safari earlier because i couldnt WAIT to get him home! but 10 weeks will be fine....i wouldnt worry about it...they grow so darn quick anyway so enjoy it.....
