Anjou Bengals

I am purchasing a bengal kitten from Anjou in NJ. Has anyone ever had any experience with this breeder? Good or bad?

The kitten I am adopting is:

My other question is, do you think this kitten will be rosetted? The breeder stated that the kitten is spotted and will very likely be somewhat rosetted. I know that she can not give me a direct answer on whether the kitten will be rosetted yet because it is not fully developed. Do you think it will be?

I think anyone on here would give you the same answer as your breeder - looking at the kittens pattern it to me resembles dad more so - so may have the same type of markings, ie dark inky spots with some rosetting maybe.

You will know more by 6-9 weeks and again around the 6month old mark...too difficult at the moment.

With both parents being rosetted chances are that your kitten will be , regardless the kitten has dark inky spots that are big and nice contrast he may have a few rosettes he may be covered in rosettes but he will definately have a nice pattern to his spotting and not really small spots if he doesnt rosette he looks like he will have large spots with a lot of contrast and to me they are just as beautiful!

Looks like he is going to have some gorgeous big rosettes then! Have you thought of any names yet? When does he come home?

From what i have seen of some of the kittens on here, alot of the time the ones who start out looking like they will only have spots actually end up with the most stunning rosettes. Echoplexia's Loki is an amazing example!

The breeder sent me an updated picture a couple weeks ago. Here is my kitten at 9 weeks. He has some rosettes and I believe they will open up even more. I am very pleased with him. I will be picking him up on Sunday evening. His name is Java.

He's amazing! The stripes going down his neck remind me of an ALC. Love his face, too. Congrats!
