Hello!

I am new to this forum, new to Bengals, but not new to cat ownership. I have been wanting a Bengal cat for about two years now. It has been about three years since my lifelong pet, a longhair black cat named Myrtle, passed away due to old age. I had owned her since I was 3-years-old, and she lived until I was 22.

I am ready to raise a new cat. There were many traits about Myrtle that I loved - she was vocal, energetic, loved human interaction and affection, and was more dog-like than cat-like. She was the perfect cat, in my opinion, and I believe I have found many traits that I loved in her standard in the Bengal breed.

I am located in Missouri and have been eying a few Bengals from Bengalbeauty.com because they are very close to me. However, their recent litter was claimed, and they suggested Spottedoaks.com. I was introduced via email to a young brown spotted boy that they are bringing to Kansas City this Friday. I am eager to make a purchase, but I would like to get some feedback from experienced Bengal owners before I make my final decision.
