Well I am due to get my first bengal at the end of this month......its been a huge education along the way!!

F1, F2, F3, F4, or F5??

Rosette or marble??

Brown or snow??

Tips on how to find a good breeder??

Ugly fuzzies??

Plus the many other phrases I came across along the way!!

Fortunately I found a fabulous breeder who has made me feel like no question was too silly...but I certainly feel like it has been a huge learning experience!!!



And we haven't even got the kitty yet!!

Is it a pic of your future kitty?

If yes, it's a lovely kitten but you should know - maybe it's a matter of a photo quality or angle and "ugly fuzzies" - but this kitty SEEMS to stand far from the bengal standards: pointy ears, mackerel tabby pattern (NOT ALLOWED), legs too short and tiny, feet definately too small. I'm saying this only because you're knew to bengals and if you want a lovely kitty, this one on the pic is perfect. BUT IT SHOULD NOT BE SOLD AS A BENGAL. There is so many unfair "breeders" who sell their cats to unexperienced buyers as the breed-quality cats....

Cute! I thought they looked like rosettes but then I know next to nothing..

Definitely looks like rosettes to me not mackerel tabby pattern.

The feet do look small, although I would have to say quite difficult to be sure that is not just due to the stance/ angle.

It is not the best photo in the world, obviously in the fuzzies, and not the best stance for identification so I would have to reserve judgement until seeing more photos and know the age to get a better idea.
