Hi everyone

I think I have a neutered 5 year old Bengal already. He's certainly got most of the characteristics anyway.

He doesn't seem to mind other cats and I would love a Bengal kitten.

I'm not sure whether he would get on better with a male or female, does anyone have any general advice? I have no gut instinct on this one.

I'm sure there used to be a breeder called Glittergloss near me but I can't find them, are there any reputable breeders in the Bristol/Birmingham/Gloucestershire area? I don't to drive for more than an hour and a half as I would be scared the kitten wouldn't like it.

Many thanks!

I have many SunTouched Bengals in my database. I know-nothing about Fahari Bengals and just found their website. The easiest thing is to just google what you are looking for.

Glittergloss may be a mistake as I have never heard of them either and have none of their cats in my database. Glitterglam is in the UK but may not be close to you.

Just make sure you do extensive research on the breeder. It's free to contact them via email. Ask a million questions and ask to visit the cattery if you can. And be prepared to wait for a kitten. Many have a waiting list and you'll just have to be patient. Know, too, there are many older bengals available and they do make wonderful pets.

Hello,

There is a breeder in Cardiff, which is reasonably close to you.

As a recommendation we got our boy from this breeder as a kitten. Now around 1.5 years old, he has proven to be a truly wonderful pet for our son and has a very big personality.

I didn't know SpringMeadow was still breeding. I was on their website the other day to pick up parents for their cats in my database and saw it hadn't been updated in over a year.

Your boy is super handsome, by the way.

Our boy is 1.5 years old now. When we got him, they had a very big set-up with a huge number of cats and kittens. All done very professionally. It would be sad if she has given up, as our boy proves she was breeding some great cats.

Agree he is handsome. What you can't see is his fantastic personality.

They may be using Facebook these days. I haven't searched for them. Many breeders have given up their websites and use social media.

Glitterglam are in Peterborough. Couple of hours from Birmingham. I have one of their cats who was in a rescue centre. They are meant to be a well respected breeder.

Glitterglam (also known as Silverglam) has been around for a very long time and Jill seems to be a great breeder.
