Cat Screaming, Is This Normal?

Besides this being super cute i was wondering if it's normal behaviour to get attention? Be cause i haven't seen it this extreme.

Whoa. That kitty is obviously not a happy camper about something. Either that or this baby had a lot on its mind and wanted to get it out. Never heard something like that before. My bengal yowls at the top of his lungs but it doesn't sound anything like that. But that is a gorgeous kitty.

Cats don't hiss to get attention. In fact it's the opposite of wanting attention. He's warning somebody about something, and very agitated.

Spanky has been doing that for 19 years now. I carried him into the vet's office one time with all the staff in the back room, Spanky let them know that he had arrived. The senior assistant asked how long ago Spanky had been stabbed. I assure her that Spanky just greeted everyone that way. He is deaf now but the volume control never existed when he was much, much younger. He did have a special REEEEEE sound that summoned his sister Sparky. As mule headed and stubborn as she was, the moment she heard him, she was rocketing to his side. LOL, never did that for me....

That said, when Spanky gets the evil eye from Kayley his volume drops 90%.....
